Short item description
print, canvas, 40,3 × 26,3 cm, signed JAN NÁLEVKA FROM THE SERIES on the reverse ONE IS NEVER ENOUGH" 2003The series of abstract paintings by Jan Nálevka was created by manipulating photographs in the graphic program Adobe Photoshop. As input material were photographs, which are stored in the aforementioned program, were used as input. and then applied to them all the visual effects that the program standard installation and setup. The effects are applied in the following order, in the order in which they appear in the program menu, and only with their automatic settings. The latest version of the program with the latest effects. The resulting abstractions are thus directly affected only by the program. The author's intention was to create an image using all visual effects commonly used in print media, with which we encounter almost every day. The result, however, given the possibilities of the technology is surprising to say the least. It's similarity to the healing lyrical abstractions is merely coincidental?!
