Bohemia, designed by V. Lišková for the Železný Brod glassworks 1950s/1960s, height 12 and 24,5 cm, one small broken off. V. Lišková studied at the Graphic School in Prague and then VŠUP under professors K. Štipl and J. Kaplický. She was a member of the group Bilance. Věra Lišková cooperated with the Lobmeyer glassworks in Kamenický Šenov and then with the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary. She specialized in thin-walled utility glass, but also created figurative cut sculptures. In her designs for engraved glass she applied her graphic experience. From the 1960s she focused on shaping tubular glass, from which she produced unique vessels and sculptures with natural themes. Her work is represented in the UPM in Prague, the East Bohemian Museum, the Pardubice, the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec and in collections worldwide.
