The Art of R. Krajc ...gives us more than hope that this artist is going
a good path to his own modern expression. This exhibition,
which is his first stop and the first recapitulation of his work and his
studies, gives us the certainty that in Krajc we have a significant and real
modern artist who cannot be overlooked, praised Jindřich Štyrský
the twenty-six year old draughtsman, graphic artist and painter Rudolf Krajc in his introductory
at the opening of his exhibition in Krásná jizba in 1933. The hopes associated with
of Krajc's future career were dashed the following year by the artist's
untimely death.
