focused on the phenomenon of writing. Since the beginning of the 1960s, when
Ovčáček went through a short period of structural informal graphic
character, he discovered countless possibilities of working with pictorial representation
of individual graphemes, signs and pictograms, which have since become
his central theme. Ovčáček's technique was particularly unique
of the painted collage or relief, with which he placed himself in the context of post-war
international objective tendencies, in which natural
processes, including fire.
