construction, black lacquered, leather, textile, dimensions 92 × 81 × 81 cmIn 1940 the Butterfly Chair was exhibited at the third Salon de Artistas
Decoradores interior design in Buenos Aires. The design of the chair was awarded
several design awards. In 1941, a trio of designers were awarded
Acquisition Prize, awarded by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The chair was originally manufactured by Artek-Pascoe,
production was taken over in 1945
