Bohemia, 1st third of the 20th century, sculpture, wood, black and white polychrome, height 28 cmSt. John Nepomucky's carving with typical attributes - biret and crucifix - chamber format is processed as a relief and designed for a frontal view. The figure is conceived in stylized cubic forms and is dressed in long robe. The layout of the surface into the elementary formations is emphasized by the color treatment of the surface, the white substrate combined with the black surfaces.
